High tech, recycled fabric

You can be confident that you're making a sun smart decision when you wear Es Una to the beach, pool or resort wear.

Our fabric is 100% regenerated fibre. It is made from recycled fishing nets and comprises 78% recycled nylon and 22% Xtra Life Lycra®.

Made in Italy's high technology textile manufacturing facilities, we have our custom prints designed and printed in Australia. Fabrics have been tested by the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency, receiving an ultra violet protection factor (UPF) rating of 50+. This means it is in the 'excellent' protection category, reducing solar ultraviolet radiation (UVR) when it covers your skin. 

One of the reasons our fabric can protect your skin is that it is a thicker than the ordinary swimwear fabric. This provides a physical shield against sunburn and sun damage. It also means that it is also less likely to cling and hug your curves in ways you'd wish it rather didn't!

Our fabric is quick drying and five times more chlorine resistant than average spandex.
